Mill Room Gallery
As part of our commitment to supporting all varieties of art, The Mill Room functions as an art gallery. Each MainStage show features a new artist or group of artists. Work is hung through the dining room and hall. While not all pieces are for sale, any art sold benefits the Mill and supports a local artist.
Artist Statement
Our collective work explores the intricate relationships between nature, spirit, and human experience through diverse artistic mediums. Each of us, in our own way, seeks to connect deeply with the world and reflect that connection back to the viewer.
Todd Parsons pushes the boundaries of artistic expression with laser-engraved art, drawing inspiration from African imagery, animal prints, local landmarks, and abstract forms. Through his creations, ranging from intricate jewelry to massive laser-cut wood scenes and portraits to digital fine art, Todd channels the beauty of nature and human craftsmanship, inviting viewers to experience the same sense of pride and pleasure that fuels his creative process. www.parsonstodd.com

Lara Crissey’s storied photography captures wonder in the ordinary through shapes that represent love and eternity organically found in nature, reflecting her belief that everything in life holds meaning. Her work is inspired by the love she feels for music, family, and friends, and it invites viewers to see the world with open hearts, discovering beauty and significance in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. Alexa Beavers’ acrylic pours and watercolors represent an intimate expression of her inner world. Moving from a child-like state of wonder through getting in touch with reality through the dark murkiness of coming of age to a place of self-compassion, her work reflects a soul’s journey. Each piece evolves naturally, as the settling pigments form patterns on the canvas, illuminating emotions and the image that is meant to emerge from the abstract. Gallery 3 — The Axela Group

Together, we seek to offer a diverse yet interconnected exploration of art’s power to inspire, reflect, and connect. Whether through the precision of laser-cut wood, the timelessness of nature’s symbols, or the fluidity of paint, we invite you to find your own reflections in our work.
